Home > Medieval Fruit
We sell some Fruit from trees grown on the farm that are surplus to our own needs.  Damsons, Quinces, Crabapples & Medlars are all old-fashioned fruits that were commonly used in medieval times and earlier. Available seasonally. They're beginning to make a comeback as modern cooks have being rediscovering the great range of flavours available from traditional English orchards. There are lots of recepies for delicious Jams, Jellies, Chutneys, Liquers, Sauces etc. We will be keeping some stored for use at Christmas 2013 and New Year, so it's worth contacting us if you need some..
